Strange Alloy Axles are designed to meet the demanding bending loads of street use. Manufactured from premium alloy steel forgings, each alloy axle is induction hardened to its optimal hardness with Strange designed tooling. Alloy axle splines are hobbed to the proper involute spline before heat treatment. The axles are made with a large 1.563” diameter axle bearing area and the shoulder accepts a radius ring that minimizes stress concentrations. A billet aluminum brake register is provided to properly locate the center of your disc or drum brake system.

Alloy Axles (A3500) - Forged from modified 1550 premium steel. Majority of machining performed before heat treat to provide consistent hardness. Induction hardened to Rc 58-62 to increase torsional strength while remaining ductile. Finish machined after heat treat to ensure accuracy. 35 spline w/30 degree pressure angle.
C-clip Eliminator Kit (A1094 for GT/GT500 or A1095 for Cobra) - Billet aluminum caliper mounts to accept OEM brakes. Aluminum inner halves. Timken tapered unit bearings for long bearing life. Bearing spacer/reluctor ring adapters. Locking rings, outer seals, o-rings, housing end bolts, and hardened washers for use w/OEM caliper mounting bolts
Choice of 5/8" Bolt Style Stud Kit (A1027S/A1027/A1027L) - 5/8" -18x3" grade 8 fully threaded bolts (measured from underneath the hex of the stud). Thin .200" hex head provides additional clearance. Width choice of ani-marring/spacer washers. Includes threaded sleeves, install tool, and flanged lug nuts
Lightweight Steel Spool (D1567 - 35 spline) - Forged from premium 8620 steel. Surface hardened to Rc 45-48. Lightened to maximize strength to weight.
NOTES FOR ABS This kit will NOT work with stock factory reluctor rings. Read instructions carefully beforehand as assembly order is very important.
