This model is specifically designed to work with the OEM rear calipers, allowing for the brake balance to stay proper while increasing overall braking performance. Initially the biggest difference is felt in the pedal feedback, with shorter travel and firmer feel while stopping the car much faster with the same amount of pressure. The other aspect that will be noticed by track drivers is that the brakes are able to hold much more heat allowing for more consistent lap times. This is achieved by using a larger than OEM brake pad, matched up to a larger rotor that is able to hold more heat and also get rid of it much faster due to the taller and also thicker design.
