Metco Motorsports 4-Piece Idler Kit w/Single Ball Bearing Idlers
Prevent supercharger belt slip and exploding stock idlers with our Metco 4-Piece Idler Kit. Our kit includes 4 of Metco's single bearing idlers and an Aux Idler bracket. The Aux Idler bracket works by mounting an idler just to the right of the supercharger belt pushing the belt towards the passenger side wrapping it better on the supercharger pulley. This will greatly reduce the risk of belt slip which is the biggest factor in lost boost for the 03-04 Cobras. The other 3 idlers in the kit replace the stock idlers which have the tendency to simply explode under load. The stock idlers are made thin so replacing them with the heavy duty Metco billet idlers will keep you from having to deal with an exploding stock idler.
The Metco pulleys are CNC-machined from billet aluminum and hard-coat anodized on the belt surface and back side for long-lasting surface protection. A heavy-duty bearing is precision-fit into the center section, and a snap-ring ensures everything stays in place.
The kit includes a Grade 8 retaining bolt with a captured washer to mount this idler pulley to the original or Metco Motorsports pulley mount.

The Metco Dual Ball Bearing billet idler pulleys are specifically designed for severe-duty applications, such as those running higher boost levels or aftermarket superchargers like a Whipple or a Kenne-Bell.
The pulley is machined to accept twin bearings to provide added stability and the ability to withstand excessive belt loads. The pulley is hard-coat anodized in black and includes a separate bearing dust cover and stainless steel fastener.
This pulley can be installed as a direct replacement for an OEM idler pulley or anywhere a standard Metco Motorsports idler pulley can be installed.

Metco Tensioner Support Plate
Fits Lightning & HD F150, 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra, 2005 and Newer 3V Mustang
This billet aluminum plate was designed as a solution to the problem of the factory Ford belt tensioner deflecting under load in supercharged applications. The factory tensioner arm tends to flex toward the front of the vehicle under heavy belt loads, and adding boost with custom pulleys or adding an aftermarket supercharger to your vehicle compounds the problem.
This brace is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and is then finish-anodized in black for long-lasting surface protection. The brace simply bolts over the factory tensioner using the provided longer bolts, and when installed, prevents the tensioner from bending outward. A special Delrin insert is installed in the back of the brace to prevent metal-to-metal contact when the tensioner is heavily-loaded.
The kit is a complete bolt-on, and requires no cutting, drilling, or any irreversible changes for installation. The kit includes the precision-machined billet plate with the Delrin insert, three aluminum spacers, and three Grade 8 cap screws with washers.
