Learn MoreThis is the 1-piece Carbon Fiber shaft for the 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra with T56 trans. This driveshaft is made from 3.25" Carbon Fiber with solid u-joints and is designed to be used with a 1350 rear pinion yoke. The weakest link on the ford drive shaft is the rear flat u-joint flange. By replacing this flange with a billet pinion yoke you will have a 1350 series u-joint going to the rear and will be able to handle upwards of 950HP.
Steeda's driveshaft spacer eliminates the need to have custom shafts made for length deficiencies of 3/8" to 11/16". Greatly reduces the chance of slip yoke failure by maintaining proper engagement. This part was developed by Steeda Hardcore for the Renegade Mustang to fit a C4 transmission, but will also work in other applications where 3/8" to 11/16" extra length is required.
This spacer is made from billet aluminum for lower rotational mass. We do not use a cheap steel spacers with zinc plating like competitors imitations. Kit includes grade 12.9 hardware and features our lifetime warranty.
Note: Sold for use with 8.8" live axle applications - will not fit IRS axle.
Steeda's 6" Driveshaft Safety Loop is an important safety upgrade that is required by many tracks and sanctioning bodies.
Our driveshaft safety loop will catch the driveshaft and keep it from causing further damage or vehicle loss of control in the event a U-joint or driveshaft failure occurs. It is a bolt-on installation that will require drilling in order to install.
