This Camber/Caster kits is the only kit that comes complete READY to bolt in right out of the box (no need to swap anything over from the factory mount). Whether you are using the car for street, autocross, road racing or drag racing these plates are designed for you. These are the only plates that have an offset design allowing for you to install them in the street orientation or a race orientation allowing for the most camber adjustment available compared to any other plate on the market. Just like our other Camber/Caster plates these come with a full lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of the product.

Shelby 05-11 Mustang Caster Camber Plate Kit
These Shelby American camber/caster plates are designed to provide better performance and handling, especially in applications where the car has been lowered. In applications where the car has been lowered, the top of the front tires tend to "lean in" towards the center of the car, resulting in rapid and/or uneven tire wear. This excessive negative camber can be easily corrected with our caster/camber plates.

1.6-degree continuous range of camber adjustment provides alignment correction on lowered cars, and is adjustable without affecting caster.
0.7-degree continuous range of caster adjustment provides correction for OEM production tolerances.

The range of suspension travel can be shifted, allowing for additional bump travel on lowered cars.
Teflon® lined spherical bearing eliminates deflection and precisely locates the strut shaft, while still allowing the required articulation.
High-tech composite thrust bearing transfers the spring load into the strut tower.

QA1 2011 Mustang Caster/Camber Plates

QA1 once again leads the industry by developing a specifically engineered asymmetric bearing for caster/camber plate applications. Through this innovative design, the bearing allows for improved load distribution that significantly reduces wear and increases durability eliminating "sloppy bearings" which result in road noise and poor handling characteristics.
QA1’s high quality caster/camber plates for race applications offer many features not found in other brands. For example, the bearing housing is tig-welded for the utmost in strength and durability. This kit provides caster and camber changes for the ultimate in adjustability.
Fitment: Will only work with QA1 front struts (part # H2004 or H 2011 ) and QA1 coil over kit (part # MU150, MU175, MU200, MU225 or MU250).

After the installation of either an Eibach PRO-KIT, SPORTLINE spring kit or PRO-STREET, R1, R2 coil-over kit, a vehicle's alignment should always be checked. Once a vehicle is lowered, wheel camber may become excessively negative, meaning the top of the tire is angled inward (toward the center of the vehicle). While some negative camber aids in improving traction and road adhesion, too much can result in compromised handling and accelerated tire wear.
Eibach offers a complete range of PRO-ALIGNMENT kits, which provide a simple, affordable solution to correct excessive negative camber. These alignment kits not only assist in adjusting a vehicle's camber back to factory specifications, but they also allow an experienced chassis tuner to utilize the increased adjustment range to "dial-in" a performance-oriented alignment that uses negative camber to maximize a chassis' true potential. With correct alignment, turn-in becomes more precise and handling becomes gratifyingly crisp and predictable. Steeda's heavy duty, direct replacement, upper strut mounts replace the weak factory mounts for S197 Mustangs.
The Steeda street heavy duty upper strut mounts are manufactured to the same exacting tolerances as our industry leading caster/camber plates. They utilize a roller bearing that exceeds OEM specs to ensure precise suspension control. Will not fail on lowered cars like the factory piece.
These upper mounts eliminate the "popping" sound that is common on lowered cars when the factory upper mount fails. Unlike the factory piece, you can also get an extra 1 degree of camber in each direction with these plates as well. Steeda's heavy duty upper mounts are specifically designed for street use and will not show any increase in NVH when installed. Price includes a set of two.
