The Metco Motorsports auxiliary idler kit for the Lightning is cleverly engineered to be a simple bolt on and to be the ultimate solution to belt slippage.
The kit consists of a heavy-duty, precision-machined aluminum plate that offers an optimized location for the included black hardcoat-anodized 90mm idler pulley. The plate bolts to existing bolt locations on the vehicle and locates the pulley just to the right of the supercharger pulley, maximizing belt wrap and eliminating slippage. The necessary fasteners are included, including steel stand-offs precision-machined from high-grade steel as well as a billet bearing cover for the pulley. Illustrated installation instructions are provided.
This product is an original Metco Motorsports design that has been copied a number of times, but none of the copies match the quality and precision fit of the original.
This kit is compatible with both Eaton and Kenne-Bell superchargers, and is also available with a larger 100mm idler pulley (MLI-100, also listed in this section) for use with overdrive (smaller) supercharger pulleys. Both 90mm and 100mm kits are available with a double-bearing idler pulley upgrade.

Our Billet 100mm Idler Pulley are a heavy duty upgrade to the factory idler pulley. Can be used to replace either of the idler pulleys on the factory pulley bridge or the idler on next to the crank pulley. Idler pulley is hardcoat anodized to prevent premature wear from the belt and tighter tolerance on the bearing.

The new idlers from divisionX are not only the best looking idler to hit the market place but were also designed to be the best performing idlers as well. The design was inspired from the 2010 GT500 wheel which looks amazing. divisionX idlers are cnc machined out of high grade billet aluminum which ends up getting hard anodized for a long lasting protective finish. It uses not one but two heavy duty ball bearings which are meant to outlast the single bearing design as well as stand up to the abuse that these idlers see from being spun at such high rpms. All of the idlers also come with a cnc machined dust cover which helps provide support for the idler and keep dust and debris out of the bearings.
These idlers not only work with their idler bracket but also can be used as a heavy-duty replacement for the two idler pulleys on the factory crossover bracket, and as a heavy-duty replacement for the factory crank idler on the 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra.
