  3. Nostrum 3.0L Ford Explorer ST Stage 2 Bundle - H186-1553
    $3,398.00

Nostrum 3.0L Ford Explorer ST Stage 1 Bundle - H186-1279

The 3.0 Ecoboost is a very capable engine, that is quickly limited by the stock fuel system when you start to chase horsepower gains. The Nostrum HPFP upgrade is the first step to unlocking more power in your Explorer ST. Dial in more boost earlier in the rev range and make a significant increase in torque with our pump which flows 47% more than stock. Being that our pumps are ethanol compatible, you also have the added benefit of being able to run e85 or blended ethanol fuel. Ethanol is wonderful on turbo cars, as it has a higher octane rating and is less prone to knock than 91/93 pump gas. Less knock, more boost, more power.

Complete your fueling upgrades with Nostrum’s Stage 1 Injectors:

Take full advantage of your upgraded Nostrum HPFP by pairing it with Nostrum Stage 1 injectors. The stock injectors simply can’t keep up with the massive about of fuel that the HPFP is capable of moving. Our Stage 1 Injectors give you 11% more flow than the stock injectors, raising the ceiling on how much power you can make.

We set the Explorer ST HP record on our dyno using our HPFP and Stage 1 Injectors, among other mods, making 707 AWHP.

     FAQ

    1. Can’t I run pump E85 on the stock fuel system?

While you absolutely can run any mix of ethanol with the factory fuel system, going to full ethanol would result in a lower HP number than you would achieve on 93 pump gas. Since E85 requires 30% more fuel than 93 to achieve the same power, and you can easily max out the stock fuel system with stock turbos, there would not be much benefit to going to full ethanol.

         2. Can I do the installation myself at home?

Absolutely! All Nostrum products come with a detailed installation guide that shows you how to install your new parts every step of the way. Any additional pieces that might be necessary are included in the box. The only thing you need is your own tools and a can-do attitude. When you are ready to tune, we have calibration data and tuning guides available to your dealer, installer, or tuner.
