Easy to install and made a noticeable difference.It took longer to remove the OEM intake than it did to install this one. The increased flow of air made a noticeable difference in acceleration and the truck seemed to run cooler. Will know more on the cooling effect after we get the 5th wheel on a grade. I have an 05 Duramax that has been my go to truck for towing my Boat, Cat 247b and my Horsetrailer. Recently I have experienced higher operating temperatures when I was under a full load. Already had an s&b cold air intake with the stock intake elbow. Put on the new s&b intake elbow and instantly felt the difference. Builds boost quicker and helps the truck run cooler. Turbo sounds better as well
