The next generation of diaphragm clutch systems are here! RAM’s new billet diaphragm pressure plate anchors a complete offering of dual disc clutch systems with a driver friendly static pressure load of 2500 pounds, in both organic and metallic versions. The low profile cover design makes fit in tight confines possible, and configurable lever angles and build heights offer endless possibilities for custom fitment. A billet steel pressure ring and bolt in diaphragm spring make the clutch completely user serviceable in the field. As with all RAM street dual disc systems, street driveability is foremost in design. Pro Street systems utilize a strap driven floater plate for quiet operation.
RAM 900 Series discs are the high tech alternative for all performance applications. Using a sintered iron friction material borrowed from high horsepower Pro Stock and Pro Modified clutches, 900 Series clutches provide extremely high coefficients of friction with minimal chatter and reduced static pressures. This type of material is engineered to provide a limited amount of 'slip' on engagement that allows the clutch to engage without overpowering the tires. All 900 Series discs use the high strength eight spring hub and Poly-coil springs for extreme dampening capabilities. This clutch disc is recommended for severe duty street and strip applications where drivability is not the highest concern. We recommend only RAM billet steel or aluminum flywheels for use with these discs.
