The off-the-shelf Mahle pistons use a valve pocket that is specifically designed for the type of cylinder heads you are running. So, if you are running cathedral-port cylinder heads, you will select a set of pistons from the LS1\/2\/6 category. If you are running L92\/LS3\/LSA cylinder heads, then you will select a set of pistons from the L92\/LS3 category.
