This high-performance rebuild kit is for customers seeking improvement over the\n\t\tstock unit along with improvements to the band, band actuation, servos, accumulator piston,\n\t\ttorque converter, forward drum, larger 27-spline input shaft, larger 29-spline output shaft,\n\t\tbillet intermediate shaft, 27-spline stator support and billet direct drum.\n\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tThe addition of the billet intermediate servo, billet band anchor and billet band strut allow\n\t\t\tthis kit to address the common know shortcomings of this 47RE transmission. This kit also comes\n\t\t\twith a new billet blueprinted 4.4 band lever. The new thrust washer kit also contains selective\n\t\t\tfor setting endplay.\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tThe 27-spline, triple-disc billet torque converter included with this kit comes standard with a\n\t\t\t2,000 stall speed (Part #: 2761848-3D), with other stall speeds available, depending on your\n\t\t\tneeds. The torque converter is lined with carbon graphitic clutch material and equipped with a\n\t\t\tprecision CNC machined forged billet apply piston to ensure no deflection occurs. This is an\n\t\t\tupgrade from the 23-spline, triple-disc billet converter that comes in the #SC-47-4 kit.\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tThis rebuild kit also includes our much larger, one-piece, billet 27-spline input shaft. This\n\t\t\tshaft is made from 300 maraging steel and is then heat treated and stress relieved to handle the\n\t\t\tadditional demands of higher torque and stress loads. This shaft is precision ground to exact\n\t\t\ttolerances. While some of our other\n\t\t\tkits include a Raybestos Pro Series carbon fiber flex band, in this kit we use our billet rigid\n\t\t\tband. This band is CNC machined from billet steel and then lined with carbon graphitic lining to\n\t\t\tensure unmatched performance by any other manufacturer.\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tIn our full competition builds, safety is always at the forefront. One of the biggest upgrades\n\t\t\tto this kit is the addition of our Ultimate Weapon Billet Direct Drum. This billet direct drum\n\t\t\tis made from 4140 billet steel; this is to ensure the utmost safety when you consider the direct\n\t\t\tdrum is traveling 2.2 times the speed of the engine. As you can imagine, when things let go at\n\t\t\tthat speed, the results are catastrophic, and we've all heard the stories of severed limbs with\n\t\t\ttransmission failures. This drum also maintains conformity at higher RPMs, reducing deflection\n\t\t\twhen the band is applied. This combination has proven to dramatically reduce shift times. In\n\t\t\taddition to the safety features, this drum has an extended snap ring groove to allow the\n\t\t\tinclusion of more clutches. This is matched perfectly with the extended height of our 27 spline\n\t\t\tinput shaft and hub, also included in this kit.\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tOur Category 5 SunCoast 47RE rebuild kit also includes upgrades to the flexplate. The factory\n\t\t\t47RE flexplate is replaced with our SunCoast billet 47RE one piece unit. This new 47RE flexplate\n\t\t\texceeds 29.3 SFI certification. This new billet one piece design is CNC machined from a single\n\t\t\tforging, and specific reliefs are machined out between the converter mounting area and the crank\n\t\t\tflange to enable minimal designed torsional flex.\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cbr\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\u003cdiv\u003e\n\t\t\tWe also include the addition of new apply pistons for both forward and direct. SunCoast Category\n\t\t\t5 47RE master rebuild kits replace the factory cast pistons with new billet apply pistons. The\n\t\t\tdirect piston is also included with new custom calibrated springs. The forward piston is also\n\t\t\treplaced with a new billet piece. These two improvements allow higher clamping forces without\n\t\t\tany deflection occurring.
