By replacing the stock ball-joint with a larger 1.25 uni-ball bearing, we improve wheel travel and durability under extreme conditions. We also adjust the caster and camber curve to correct geometry, resulting in improved driving characteristics and handling. Our arms are designed using CAD\/CAM engineering software and manufactured in-house with precision. They feature thicker .156\" wall round tubing, laser-cut and CNC-bent tubes, and MIG welding. The arms come with polyurethane frame pivot bushings with grease-able zerk fittings and FK 1.25\" PTFE-lined uniballs pre-installed. They are finished with steel gray powder-coating and include all necessary hardware for installation. Please note that these arms are not compatible with vehicles equipped with electronic adaptive ride control suspension systems. They are designed for 1-3\" of lift and may require trimming of plastic inner fenders to eliminate tire rubbing. Replacing the stock ball-joint with a uniball bearing we’re able to gain wheel travel with a part that is considerably stronger and will last longer under extreme conditions. We build more caster and change the camber curve to correct geometry so the vehicle aligns correctly and improves driving characteristics and handling. Using the latest CAD\/CAM engineering software we design these arms to the strictest standards using our FARO laser scan arm to model the OEM parts and frames. Manufactured in-house, we have the tubes CNC laser cut and bent, then are MIG welded in precision fixtures before sending out to be sandblasted and powder-coated. Our in-house CNC machine shop makes all the machined parts including the uniball mis-alignment spacers from heat-treated stainless steel.
