Lethal Performance is proud to announce the new AFCO Pro-Series Dual Pass Heat Exchanger with DUAL 10" Spal Fans.
As many know we were the ones to introduce the AFCO dual pass heat exchanger to the GT500 market. AFCO approached us several weeks ago letting us know that they've finally put together an upgraded unit with dual fans. They obviously know how important it is to keep up with the demand that our customers look for. As we've seen the dual fan heat exchanger has become a very popular unit. Continuous air across the fins of the heat exchanger help in lowering inlet air temps. This will also prevent you from losing power due to heat soak.
The addition of (2) 10" Spal fans along with a larger core means business. This will be the largest heat exchanger for the GT500 to this date.
If anyone has seen an AFCO product you know it's of the highest quality. The cores, welds and design are used in many high performance applications for both street and track use.
Lethal Performance has locked up the entire first batch and we're giving all of our customers a first shot at purchasing them. We expect to have them available by the end of this month. When dealing with Roots or Twin Screw Superchargers there's always the issue of intake temps. When running the car hard and spinning the blower fast you create heat. Heat equals a loss in power as well as the possibility of damage to the engine. One way to help reduce these intake temps and the risk of damage is to add more fluid into the intercooler system which in turn helps lower intake temps by disiapating heat.
Whenever you add more boost to your car, cooling becomes extremely important. Whether it be on the street or at the track the warmer the car runs the more timing gets pulled. In addition to that an excessive amount of heat known as heat soak starts to take place. This keeps the car down on power and running less efficient. This again can be helped by adding more fluid into the cooling system. The temperature of the intercooler fluid will lower and cool down faster in between runs. You can do all this with the addition of the AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger and dual fan setup.

Reische Performance FORD-G5 170° Performance Thermostat
<p>These Reische 170° thermostats are custom made specifically for the GT500 with the same size diaphragm and bypass control as your OEM unit. Proper bypass control means maximum efficiency from your cooling system. Each of these thermostats is modified by hand using only U.S. made parts and then quality inspected to ensure consistent opening temps.</p>
<p>Late model GT500 owners will notice a substantial drop in coolant temps over their stock 192° unit with the Ford-G5 thermostat installed. Whether you are using an aftermarket radiator or not, this thermostat will provide the best possible heat dissipation from your setup along with a faster warm up time and better cold weather performance than a 160° unit or a thermostat with holes drilled in the diaphragm. We believe the 170° opening temp is the ideal balance for high performance engines, providing high flow to your radiator by mid-180 temps while still providing good all season performance. With proper fan settings your coolant temps in cool weather will be in the 170s and in hot weather the 180s, giving those running high levels of timing and/or boost added protection against engine-damaging detonation as well as maximum power output.</p>

Roto molded plastic intake tube finished in a High Gloss Carbon Fiber look. A full 5.5" at the throttle body to mate up with the huge KB twin 75mm throttle body and 6" at the filter. The best part of this new JLT SUPER Big Air is the MASSIVE 148mm MAF housing molded right in the tube. This not only looks great, but the smooth inside makes air flow nice and smooth. NO METAL TUBING HERE!!</p>
Through an awesome process called Hydrographics, the intake tube is made to look like carbon fiber. The tube is painted and then dipped in a water solution with a carbon fiber print film that adheres to the part when removed. Tube is then clear coated for a durable finish.</p>
ABS plastic heat shield to block engine heat at idle and low speed. It has two mounting points and a weather strip that seals to the hood. Uses stock inlet from the grille to make sure the filter has tons of cool air.</p>
We use only the best air filters made by S&B to our specifications. We love S&B's tapered flange design and Powerstack filtered ends. With a huge 5” opening on the tube we needed a huge filter. The result is a monster 5x9” filter with built in screen to straighten airflow. It measures a full 8.25” across at the base and 5.5” at the top.</p>
A JLT specific tune is required with this kit.</p>

The X4 even has two analog ports that allow you to hook up expandable probes and sensors to read data and PIDs that aren't output through your vehicle's OBD-II port.
