***A Retune may or may not be required to complete the install of the MAC 3540 but it is highly recommended, please read bellow.***

All Mustangs 2005-2009 4.6L V8 & 4.0L V6! On any 2005-2009 Air System Brand on the market, you should still do a Custom Tune or use a Tuner with Increased Air Flow to achieve Maximum Performance. If any Brand states that you don't need a Tune, then it doesn't make much Power. Some Brands are even welding in a permanent restriction baffle just to stop the Check Engine Light from coming on. Some Brands will even Lose Power or can't be Tuned. With any High Flow Air Inductions System, increased air flow won't peg your Mass Air Voltage, but it will Lean Out, Especially in the Torque Range. Advertising and Hype on Tunable Air Systems is also misleading. Moving the Mass Air Position or Length will make a slight change but this is still not enough, it is only about a .22 Volt Change. The 2005-2009 Mustang's are only controlled thru the Computer! There isn't any magic going on with different Brands of Air Systems for the 2005-2009 Mustang's. MAC is just a better Quality, Design and Value! Remember there is No such thing as cooler then Ambient Temperature with out added cooling.
