The Lethal Performance Mcleod Clutch and MGW Shifter Package gives you the option to choose the correct Mcleod Clutch and MGW shifter for your application. Offered with the Mcleod Racing RXT or RXT 1200HD clutch we've got you covered regardless of the type of driving you do with the car and the power you're making.
We've used the Mcleod RXT and RXT HD in several of our GT500 builds over the years with great results. Add into that the best shifter on the market and you've got your driveline upgrade handled. The 2007-2009 GT500 uses an RXT or RXT HD clutch along with your choice of aluminum or steel flywheel. The RXT and RXT HD clutch for the 2010+ GT500 is a sprung hub setup designed to work with your OEM flywheel so no flywheel purchase is necessary. The 2010+ GT500 Mcleod clutch offerings use an adapter ring which acts as it's own friction surface. The ring will bolt to the factory flywheel and allow the rest of the clutch assembly to bolt to it. So regardless of if your flywheel is glazed you don't have to worry as the 2010+ RXT / RXT HD will have it's own new friction surface area.
We recommend using the RXT clutch kit for applications up to the 900rwhp range. If you plan on making more power than that or do extensive drag racing with the car the RXT HD 1200 would be a better fit. The only difference between the two is the pressure plate on the HD 1200 has higher clamping force than the standard RXT.
MGW Shifter
This new design shifter for the 2007-2014 GT500 is truly ground breaking. We have successfully engineered the first "top loader" design shifter for the TR6060 transmission. No more sloppy in gear play! New front to back shift throw ratio virtually eliminates 2nd grind. 100% machined in the USA!
