When it comes to any build, whether it's bolt ons or blowers, fuel is important. While the stock fuel system in the 2011-up cars is stout enough for basic bolt ons, when it's time to upgrade to E85 or a forced induction setup then it's also time to upgrade your fuel system. 

 

Current options to upgrade your fueling system range from an injector swap (oh, hi there 47lb injectors) to fuel pump voltage boosters (like our Fuel+ line) or a budget system that utilises a modified factory fuel hat.   These options work great for certain build levels or horsepower ranges, but we have something EVEN BETTER: our Level 1 and Level 2 Return Style Fuel Systems for the 2011-2017 Mustang.  

 

 

 

 

What makes them so good? 

Both the Level 1 and Level 2 Return Style Fuel Systems utilize the divisionX triple pump return style fuel hat, allowing you to run up to 3 fuel pumps, including the hefty Walbro 535lph pumps. The main benefit to these systems, aside from high quailty components, is that they are easily upgraded down the road when you need to support more power. You can install the Level 1 Fuel System now and then down the road when you want to make more power, we offer an upgrade kit to convert the rest of the system.

Level 1 Return Style Fuel System

 

The Level 1 system is essentially our 'budget friendly' fuel system for the Coyotes. It will utilize your factory fuel rails and convert the rest of your system to a deadhead return style fuel system.  Here's the diagram:

 

 

Starting at the top, the fuel will come from the tank through the divisionX triple pump hat and to the divisionX high flow fuel filter through the supplied PTFE feed line. From the filter, the fuel will travel to the included Aeromotive X1 standard regulator, which is rated to handle up to 150gph. From the regulator, the fuel will travel to the rear of the driver's side fuel rail and connect via the included OEM rail adapter. Once the desired fuel pressure is met the fuel then circulates back to the fuel tank, beginning the cycle again. Oh and the wiring? We make it easy by including out dual or triple return style wiring harness (dependent on the # of fuel pumps ordered)

 

This Level 1 Return Style Fuel System has been used to support up to 850rwhp on E85 using the appropriate fuel pumps. The kit starts at $1449 shipped and includes the following:

Level 2 Return Style Fuel System

 

Need more than what Level 1 has to offer? Say no more! The Lethal Performance Level 2 Return Style Fuel System includes some of the same components as the Level 1 but adds in a few extras, making it a FULL traditional style return system. Here's the Level 2 diagram:

 

 

Like it's little brother the Level 1 system, the Level 2 Return Style Fuel System starts off with the DivisionX triple pump return hat feeding the DivisionX high flow fuel filter. However, from the filter is where the Level 2 gets it's upgrades. From the fuel filter the feed line is split, using a 2-to-1 Y-block and feeds the rear of each fuel rail--and not the stock fuel rails, either! Included in this kit are the DivisionX High Flow Billet Fuel Rails for some extra flow. Then, from the front of each rail, a line will feed into the Aeromotive X1 Pro regulator (which is the same regulator as used in the L1 system, but with beefed up internals to handle flow up to 250gph). As with the L1 system fuel returns to the fuel tank from the regulator. 

 

This system is capable of supporting well over 1000rwhp on E85 and can be run with 2 or 3 fuel pumps. The Lethal Performance Level 2 Return Style Fuel System starts at $1999 shipped and includes the following:

Level 1 to Level 2 Fuel System Upgrade Kit

If you have the Level 1 Return Style Fuel System and you're ready to upgrade to the full Level 2 setup, we've made it super easy! We have assembled a kit that includes everything from the L2 system needed to upgrade. You'll get the required pre-assembled PTFE fuel lines & fittings as well as the DivisionX High Flow Billet Fuel Rails (unless you have a Whipple or Edelbrock setup that already includes rails). Also, the great thing about the Aeromotive X1 regulator that we chose to use is that it is upgradeable as well. The Level 1 system uses the standard configuration of the Aeromotive X1 regulator, rated to 150gph. With the upgrade kit, we will include the required internals to upgrade that X1 to the Pro configuration used in the Level 2 systems, bringing it to 250gph.
