COMP Cams® adds a new GM LS 4.8L turbo application to its popular LST™ (Low Shock Technology) cam series that’s optimized for high RPM power production and boost response.

COMP Cams® LST™ Camshaft Kits for GM LS applications take the guesswork out of choosing the right valve train upgrade package for your specific engine and desired performance. “Low Shock Technology” camshafts feature lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower, while improving stability at higher RPM. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss.

By Spintron® and dyno testing this new cam profile with many combinations of valve train components, COMP Cams® engineers have created a valve train kit that is perfectly matched for maximum horsepower and dependability in turbocharged GM LS 4.8L race engines with low back pressure turbo systems.

CK-Kit (Cam Kit) includes: camshaft, pushrods, dual valve springs, tool steel retainers, valve locks, spring seats and valve seals. MK-Kit (Master Kit) includes: camshaft, lifters, timing set, pushrods, dual valve springs, tool steel retainers, valve locks, spring seats and valve seals.

For your convenience, we also offer optional rocker arm upgrades and LS Cam Install Kits that include all of the required gaskets, crank seal, crank and cam bolts needed for installation. Please see the application chart on page 2 for complete kit components and optional upgrades.
