You can run the KPM fuel \nmodules safely at any fuel levels under normal road conditions, without the \nrisk of surge or fuel starvation.\u003cbr\u003eWhen you go racing at the circuit or drags and are under full load \napplications, fuel levels are simply required to be run at recommended \nlevels* to avoid risk of surge or fuel starvation.\u003cbr\u003eThe fuel pumps are both 100% gasoline, ethanol, and methanol compatible and \nable to deliver massive amounts of cool dense fuel at standard vehicle \nvoltages.\u003cbr\u003eThis equates to optimum tuning and power levels up to 2200 hp \u003cbr\u003e(flywheel rated on 94 octane fuel)\u003cbr\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e*Minimum 40 litres of fuel for full load applications.\u003cbr\u003eKPM Fuel Systems have designed a PWM fuel module controller that can \nelectronically run the primary KPM1500 fuel module and the secondary KPM700 \nfuel module in any combination.\u003cbr\u003eIts main purpose is to control the supply of fuel flow in accordance with \nthe engine power and fuel demand. It does this by electronically \ncontrolling the amount of current supplied to the fuel pumps.\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cbr\u003eKPM PWM Fuel Module Controller \u003cbr\u003eis supplied pre-programmed to run one or both modules together depending on \npower and fuel demand.\u003cbr\u003eBoth modules, primary and secondary, will always only run at the desired \ncurrent determined by the power\/fuel demand. This ensures cooler fuel and \naccurate supply.\u003cbr\u003eLess fuel pump current = less heat = cooler fuel = more power\u003cbr\u003eSupplying fuel to support 2200 hp and beyond requires three high-flow fuel \npumps, housed in two in-tank fuel modules. The drawback to this scenario is \nthat two or more fuel pumps can generate quite a lot of fuel pump current \nmeaning increased heat.\u003cbr\u003eThis transfer of heat needs to go somewhere and therefore, heats the fuel \nin the tank. This is generally not a concern however, if the vehicle is \nidling or being driven for long periods with a low level of fuel in the \ntank, the fuel may start to reach a point of losing its full energy \npotential or start vaporizing in the pumps or fuel lines. This can cause \nlong cranking times and hard re-starts. In the worst cases, the fuel pumps \nwill start to cavitate, lose pressure and not supply fuel as intended.\u003cbr\u003eThe KPM PWM controller is pre-programmed to monitor your vehicle fuel \npressure across all engine loads which, in turn, allows the controller to \ncalculate the required level of electrical current to your fuel pumps. \nThis, in turn, delivers the correct amount of fuel to your engine as \nrequired across all conditions.\u003cbr\u003eCooler fuel increases your performance\u003cbr\u003eVehicles with a Factory Fuel System Control Module (FSCM)\u003cbr\u003e Caprice PPV (2014-2017)\u003cbr\u003eThe KPM PWM Fuel Module Controller comes complete with wiring to be \nconnected to the vehicle’s factory FSCM to read the OE signals. The KPM PWM \nFuel Module Controller uses the OE signals from the FSCM to calculate the \ncorrect current required to run the pumps accordingly. The KPM PWM can also \nbe programmed utilizing the OE fuel system programming tables.\u003cbr\u003eVehicles without a Factory Fuel System Control Module (FSCM)\u003cbr\u003eCaprice PPV (2011-2013)\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cbr\u003eKPM\u003cbr\u003e PWM Fuel Module Controller comes as a stand-alone pre-programmed \ncontroller for vehicles not fitted with a factory FSCM. The \u003cbr\u003eKPM\u003cbr\u003e PWM Fuel Module Controller is supplied with a fuel pressure sensor kit and \nwiring that directly fits your vehicle’s fuel system. The fuel pressure is \nthen used to calculate the correct current required to run the pumps \naccordingly.\u003cbr\u003eTo support up to 2200 horsepower at the engine, the fuel supply requirement \nis massive and your standard fuel lines are just not going to handle it! \nKPM have engineered a direct replacement, direct fit stainless steel fuel \nline upgrade kit. No messing around with time consuming, cumbersome \nfittings, cutting etc. Simply remove your standard metal fuel lines and fit \nour pre-shaped direct fit stainless steel ½” lines. We supply every section \nrequired from your fuel module all the way to the engine. All the sections \nhave been manufactured with EFI fittings and connectors to make for a sleek \n‘click’ together style of OE fitment.\u003cbr\u003eIncluded in the \u003cbr\u003eKPM Fuel Line Upgrade Kit\u003cbr\u003e, is our \u003cbr\u003eKPM 2200 hp Fuel Filter\u003cbr\u003e. The fuel filter fits directly to the upgraded fuel lines, again making \nfor a direct easy fit. The KPM 2200 hp Fuel Filter housing is made of \nanodized aluminium and houses a 40-micron stainless steel, cleanable \nlifetime fuel filter element.
