These McLeod Street Twin clutch kits are designed to be high performance replacements for your OEM clutch. They include a new disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and your choice of a billet steel or billet aluminum flywheel. The kits are pre-balanced to fit specific applications and include the correct alignment tool for installation.
NOTE: The 2010 GT500 uses a different slave cylinder than the previous 07-09 model years. It has a longer throw. Since the majority of the clutch manufacturers including Mcleod have not redesigned their cluthes yet for the difference on the 2010 model you must use a 07-09 Slave Cylinder with this clutch in order for it to engage and release properly.
NOTE: When used on a GT500 you must run an aftermarket flywheel as the stock flywheel will not work with this clutch. We recommend using either the Mcleod 563458/463458 or the Fidanza 186481/286481.

The Mcleod 463458 is a lighter version of the 463408. It weighs 7lbs less (21 lbs) and is perfect for high horsepower street applications.
NOTE: This flywheel will not work with the OEM GT500 Clutch.
The steel flywheel is perfect for street applications where easy stop light acceleration is desired and for off road or rock crawling. Steel flywheels come in various weights and and dimensions. For race applications, a heavier steel unit is ideal for helping launch a heavy car with a smaller engine with less torque and horsepower.
The 1400 series slip on bearing is intended to replace your OEM bearing retainer when your "A" measurement is more than 3". These bearings are made of the finest hard anodized billet aluminum, along with quality elbow swivel fittings and high pressure stainless steel braided lines. These high quality components make the Mcleod bolt on hydraulic throw out bearing extremely durable, and the best in the market today! These assemblies may be used to eliminate the need to fabricate complex clutch linkage when swapping transmissions. Most McLeod Hydraulic Throw Out Bearings are available with or without a master cylinder.
NOTE: This slave cylinder will not work in 2010-2014 Shelby GT500's using clutch assemblies with OEM height. If you are using 07-09 GT500 clutch height in your 2010-2014 Shelby, then this slave will work properly.

This pivot ball allows adjustment for precise alignment of the clutch fork. Realignment of the clutch fork may be necessary after a flywheel is resurfaced, and with the installation of many of the multiple disk clutch kits. An improperly aligned clutch fork can increase the amount of pedal throw required to release the clutch. It can also cause damage to other components, such as the input shaft retainer, the throw-out bearing, the clutch fork, and even the pressure plate.
Both the pivot ball and the clutch fork should be inspected for wear any time they are accessible. The surfaces where the pivot ball and clutch fork meet should be round, without any flat spots. If either item is worn, it should be replaced.
This pivot ball fits all Mustang bell housings. It is made of steel and may be used as an OEM replacement. The McLeod adjustable pivot ball should accompany any clutch system that changes the fore and aft location of the pressure plate fingers from the stock location. This adjustable pivot ball is included with the McLeod Magnum Force clutches.

Metallic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast. Kit Includes: Pressure Plate, two ceramic friction discs, floater plate, aluminum flywheel and pilot tool.
The Mcleod RXT HD is also one of our best selling and best performing clutch we offer here at Lethal Performance. We started using the RXT back in 2008 on our Shelby GT500 and have used it on every Lethal Performance manual transmission project car since. When we built our 2013 Shelby GT500 with a 4.5L Whipple to make over 1250rwhp the RXT HD was the clutch to go with as we had exceeded the horspower rating that the RXT offers. The RXT HD just like the regular RXT offers excellent holding power and can handle lots of abuse while still maintaining good street-ability and smooth engagement. The RXT HD uses the same ceramic friction surfaces that the RXT does but uses a higher clamping pressure plate which gives it more holding power and a higher HP rating. Whether it's a weekend warrior car or a straight up drag race car the RXT HD is an excellent choice.
