Boundary Engineering Sprocket Grip Kit (2011-2014 5.0L Coyote) - CM-SP-11-GRIPA

A new combo product to market that significantly reinforces the crank snout on the Coyote engines. One of the common failure points with the crank snout is crankshaft keyway overload resulting in keyway cracks in the crank that can turn into complete snout failure.

This kit puts a friction surface on the front and rear of the sprocket and is finished with martenwear, so it doesn't wear off. Pair this with CM-HBB from Apex Torque, and you have another 7000 pounds of force over OEM \ ARP clamping down on the equivalent of a double-sided diamond washer. This eliminates the rotation of the sprocket to the crank, and sprocket to the balancer. It also stiffens the entire assembly against damage from belt loads found in supercharger systems.
