What started in 2004 as a small operation focused on selling Mustang parts turned into 20 years of Lethal Performance mayhem, built on a simple idea, build it, test it, and prove it. The platforms changed, the power levels exploded, aftermarket parts improved, but the mission stayed the same, find the combinations that work together, back it up with real results on the street and at the track, then offer the parts for you to do it too.
The early days were New Edge SVT Cobras, Ford Lightnings, and first gen Shelby GT500s, with a focus on dialing in the basics, fitment, airflow, fueling, and the combos that made cars genuinely faster. This era taught us which parts worked together and which combinations caused problems later. Our 2003 Cobra, eventually known as Cobro, became a rolling reference point, proving supercharger, fuel, and airflow setups long before “complete kits” were common.
The battle for horsepower continued and the builds followed. This decade was about finding complete combinations, supercharger systems, fueling, cooling, driveline, and the details that turn big power into reliable performance. The Boss 302 era continued to prove our Lethal way off being loud, boosted, and fast.
As the S550 platform matured, the focus shifted from “can we” to “how fast can we.” New platform developments turned into proven setups, and proven setups turned into track results. Builds like Goldmember were not about one off results, they showed what happens when every part is selected to work as a system.
