When purchasing your Whipple Kit from Lethal Performance we offer you 2 options in regards to tuning.
Option 1- Included in the price of this kit you receive the Whipple High Output Tune. Once you receive your kit you will get a voucher to send your ECU to Whipple for them to flash it with the Whipple tune. Your computer will then be sent back to you through Fed Ex with an express service so there's less downtime,.
Option 2- Use the dropdown menu to select Custom Tuned XCAL3 to receive a custom tuned SCT Xcalibrator 3 with a Custom Whipple Tune. The benefits to choosing this option is that you do not need to send your computer anywhere and you receive a handheld flash programmer capable of making changes to the tune as well as datalogging the cars performance. You'll also have the ability to check and clear DTC codes. If for any reason you change your tire size, gear ratio or want to run a race tune the X3 gives you the ability to do that.
With years of OEM and racing experience, Whipple engineers have developed a unique PCM calibration that reconfigures all the necessary engine functions including fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, transmission control and electronic throttle control.
NON INTERCOOLED SC SYSTEM
The standard Mustang SC kit boast the industries latest twin-screw supercharger, the W140ax which shares similar technology to the Ford GT supercharger. It also comes with a new aluminum intake manifold, 38lb/hr fuel injectors, Ford Racing spark plugs and Whipple's High Performance Tuning, 95mm MAF and cold air induction system and air-bypass system. This SC system pumps out nearly 405HP with 6-psi of boost and is easily upgradeable to the HO intercooled system.
