ProCharged 3.7L Mustang Real World Gas Mileage:
A ProCharged 3.7L V6 Mustang completed the St. Louis, MO to Miami, OK leg of the 2012 Hot Rod Power Tour. With ambient temps in the high 80's and the air conditioning running the whole trip; the average combined City/Highway mileage was 24 MPG while Highway mileage was 27 MPG. These results were impressive given a 500+HP Mustang 3.7L V6 daily driver with exhaust mods and a more aggressive 3.31 rear gear ratio vs the stock more fuel friendly 2.73 ratio.

<p>This kit is specific for the 2011-17 Mustang 3.7 V6 passenger side. Includes factory PCV hose for easy plug and play installation.</p>
<strong>How does it work?</strong><br>
<p>During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, intake tube, intake manifold runners and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse with forced inducted vehicles (supercharged and turbocharged) as crankcase pressures are increased. To combat this, we have developed an oil separator of our own design. Milled from solid billet aluminum this is a rock solid piece. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O-ring seal to prevent any leaks. </p>
<p>Filtering consists of a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors and releases them once heavy enough to fall. They then pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter where they grow every larger and then fall into the bottom. By the time the oil gets through the filter it's too heavy to be passed on into the intake. The tank holds 3 oz of fluid, while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn’t see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain it every 5000-7000 miles and you will never come close to filling it.</p>

You'll fill out the custom tune request form with your vehicle information and once finished submit it. That info is what we'll use to make your custom tune with. Once the tune request form has been submitted a copy of it will go to our tuner Jon Lund. He'll create the tune file and either email it to you direct if all you purchased was the tune, or the tune will be emailed to us to be loaded onto the SCT or nGauge device before it ships. <p> Not only has Jon tuned our 1040rwhp 9 second GT500 which was a 5.0 Mustang Magazine feature/cover car he also tuned our 2.9L Whipple powered 2011-2012 5.0L Mustang GT which runs low 10's and will soon break into the 9's.</p>
<p> How the custom tuning works is we collect the information we need from you about your car. A tune request is made to Jon and the tune is built to the specific mods you have on your car. Then the tune is then emailed back to us. We'll email you a copy of the tune so that you can upload it onto your SCT handheld device as well as keep a copy of it on file so that if you happen to lose it for any reason we can resend it to you. The tune we provide will still allow you to make changes to it through the handheld device. Things such as spark, gear ratio, tire size, rev limiter are all features of the tune that are left open for you to make changes to if you choose. <strong>All of the tuning that we provide through Jon Lund is only good for Lund Racing nGauge and SCT products. </strong></p>
<p> <strong>Updates</strong>- For minor changes such as adding a different intake, pulley or headers there is no charge. If you happen to upgrade from a stock blower to a Whipple or Turbo setup there will be additional charges as those setups are unique and require additional tuning. The same goes for a race gas or valet tune as those are additional.</p>
