What a panhard bar support brace does:
The panhard bar keeps the rear axle centered in the chassis. Due to higher performance demands, Ford reinforced the panhard bar with a panhard bar brace.
How does Shelby improve on this?
The factory panhard bar brace is made from light-gauge stamped steel. Our high performance, reinforced brace is made from boxed tube, which reduces deflection and increases handling characteristics during cornering.
