Liberty Gear 26 Spline Input Shaft for T-56

An important part of modding your car is to make sure that things won't break. Many Cobra owners running high horsepower cars have run into the issue of a broken input shaft. The stock 10 spline input shaft from Ford is not a very strong piece. Under certain cricumstances it is stressed to the point of where it actually snaps in half. This is where the Liberty Gear 26 Spline Input Shaft comes into play. By installing the 26 Spline unit you increase the durability of your transmission by ten fold. This will also allow you to run more extreme and rugged clutches such as the Centerforce DFX or Spec Stage 5's without having to worry about the stock input shaft breaking. Do yourself a favor. If you're going to make some big power and add a good clutch get yourself the 26 spline setup and you will save yourself many headaches.

The Liberty Gear Input Shaft is made for the 03-04 Cobra T56 therefore we do not ensure fitment of this shaft on any other T56 available.
