Lethal Performance 07-08 GT500 Ultimate Pack with Steeda Cold Air Intake
The Lethal Ultimate Pack is the most complete and most efficient package on the market for the GT500. While others offer similar power packages with intakes and tuners no one but Lethal Performance offers the most important part of upgrading your Shelby.
COOLING
When adding all this power by upping the boost and flowing more air it's most important to keep things cool. The most common culprit of power loss it heat soak. Heat soak causes you to continually lose power as your car warms. The IAT temps rise and the cold air needed to make power goes bye bye. Another thing that happens after several hard runs on the car is the computer senses the higher temperatures and pulls timing. Obviously it does this to prevent overheating and dangerous lean conditions as well as detonation.
Whats the solution? Cooling Mods
Lethal Performance is the exclusive distributors for the all new AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger and PFAB Intercooler Reservoirs. Both of these combined offers just what your car needs in the cooling department.
Adding more coolant to the intercooler system will help dissipate heat. In addition to the added volume of fluid you'll be cooling that fluid with a much larger surface area of cooling fins.
How many rows of fins? 19... That's right 19 rows of cooling fins in addition to the fluid passing through the AFCO's Double Pass design.
No other heat exchanger on the market is as large or efficient as the AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger.
In addition to adding the AFCO Pro-Series Heat Exchanger we've also included the PFAB Intercooler Reservoir. The PFAB Intercooler Reservoir is tig welded out of the highest quality aluminum available. Precision welds and an amazing design allows this tank to replace your stock plastic reservoir with a much nicer looking and functional piece. The PFAB tank holds just under 1 gallon of fluid. This is a major increase over the stock tank and the increased fluid will help every bit in keeping the rest of the system cooler. You're also able to fill this tank with ice between runs at the track to help cooling and lower intake temperatures which has been dyno tested and proven to add horsepower. Best of all the PFAB Intercooler Reservoir is a direct replacement which is very easy to install.

Not only is Justin one of the most well known SCT tuners in the industry but also a GT500 owner himself. This has allowed him to do extensive dyno testing with many different combinations to come up with the special recipe for awesome power and excellent driveability.
Steeda Cold Air Intake Kit
Gain horsepower and torque with this straightforward and easy upgrade. Lifetime filter can be cleaned and re-oiled, but the big news here is that we've streamlined the airflow in the GT 500 Mustang to the point that a computer re-flash isn't just an option, it's required!
The kit is supplied with a stainless steel air box with built-in Billet aluminum Super Velocity stack. It mounts in the factory location with the supplied rubber trim to keep the hot air out. Billet mass air meter is bright nickel plated for a lustrous shine and measures in at an industry leading 114mm’s!! Our tests showed inlet temps a mere 5 degrees above ambient temperature. The Steeda Lifetime Filter can easily be cleaned and re-oiled, making maintenance a snap. All stainless steel hardware required for installation is included in the kit.
Metco 2007+ Shelby GT500 Interchangeable Supercharger Pulley
Metco Motorsports Interchangeable Supercharger pulleys for your all new GT500..How it works is the smaller diameter of this pulley allows the supercharger's rpm's to increase. This in turn allows the supercharger to flow more air and create more boost pressure which makes power. The Metco pulley design uses a hub and ring style setup. This means you press the hub onto the superchargers shaft and then bolt the pulley ring to it with allen bolts. The hub and ring design allows for quicker pulley changes which can be done in less than 5 minutes.

NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
- These are a must when upping the boost with a smaller supercharger pulley. The more boost you make the hotter the intake temperatures get. The TR6 spark plug is 1 heat range colder than the GT500 spark plug. This helps to cool the intake charge in the combustion chamber which helps to prevent detonation. The ideal spark plug gap for the GT500 running either the 2.60" or the 2.80" pulley is .035.

All new from AFCO is the Pro-Series Heat Exchanger for the 2007+ Shelby GT500. If you didn't already know AFCO currently makes the best selling and best performing heat exchanger for the 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra. Well they're going to do just the same for the GT500 by offering the same technology and quality with their Pro-Series H/E.
When dealing with Roots or Twin Screw Superchargers there's always the issue of intake temps. When running the car hard and spinning the blower fast you create heat. Heat equals a loss in power as well as the possibility of damage to the engine. One way to help reduce these intake temps and the risk of damage is to add more fluid into the intercooler system which in turn helps lower intake temps by dissapating heat.
Whether it be on the street or at the track the warmer the car runs the more timing gets pulled. In addition to that an excessive amount of heat known as heat soak starts to take place. This keeps the car down on power and running less efficient. This again can be helped by adding more fluid into the cooling system. The temperature of the intercooler fluid will lower and cool down faster in between runs.

Cooler intake temperatures mean more power. It is just that simple. However, providing your engine with cool air to breathe becomes even more difficult when forced induction is involved.
Ford's potent supercharged V8 is no exception. This is why Ford designed a separate intercooling system for the supercharger on their popular F150 Lightning, Shelby GT500 and 03-04 Mustang Cobra.
The Ford system utilizes a heat exchanger mounted low in the front grill, which is very similar to a small radiator. Coolant flows separately from the main engine cooling system and circulates internally through the intercooler beneath the supercharger.
While the factory supercharger cooling system is adequate in stock configuration, it struggles to keep up with the multitude of popular modifications that not only deliver more power, but also increase the stress and strain on the engine.
To combat the power loss by excessive heat build up in the supercharger and intake system, AFCO focused on upgrading the weakest component in this cooling system: THE HEAT EXCHANGER.
AFCO Heat Exchangers are considerably larger than their stock counterparts. This provides a greater surface area and more capacity. AFCO Heat Exchangers reduce supercharger coolant temperatures by more than 40 degrees.
