Bilstein Sport Front Strut 96-04 Mustang

Bilstein shocks and struts incorporate a superior and more reliable Mono Tube design for a more linear response when compared to the progressive valving found in twin tube shocks and struts. All Bilstein struts incorporate internal bump stops permitting you to remove the factory stops to save weight. And perhaps best of all, Bilstein struts and shocks are fully rebuildable and have the ability to be custom valved and or shortened/ lengthened for different ride heights, making them an uncomprable value!

Same fitment as the 395-V36-4138-HI. With Cobra R spec valving, they offer the ideal damping for our 750-850 pound Comp Springs, and are a natural choice for your IRS Cobra with our 03-04 Cobra Sport Springs'. Works best with rear 395-BE5-6418-HO or B462148-HI shocks, and our 5th Anniversary Comp / Sport Spring Set. Can be used with our 850-1050 pound race springs but ideally you would want a firmer valving for something with a working range over 900 pounds. May also be mused with some mild street coil-over set-ups running up to a 200 pound coil-over spring.
