When JLT developed the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 intake, they did something completely different for us and incorporated the MAF housing into the tube. This made for a much smoother interior without any transitions, steps or couplers to upset the air flow. Another benefit is the over all look is just plain awesome!
It’s a full 123mm ID at the MAF area and fits under the stock strut tower bar. It also has a new larger heat shield with two mounting points and a weather strip that seals to the hood. With a huge 5” opening on the tube we needed a huge filter. So we got with S&B and gave them some measurements. We love the tapered flange design and Powerstack filtered ends of their filters and ended up with a monster 5x9” filter, that’s a full 8.25” across at the base and 5.5” at the top.

That's why we teamed up with Jon Lund of Lund Racing to offer our customers custom tunes for their cars. Jon Lund of Lund Racing has been tuning cars for quite sometime. He's regarded in the tuning community as one of if not the best when it comes to GT500's, 2011-2012 5.0L's and 03-04 Cobras. His years of experience as well as countless hours on the dyno has given him the tools to offer mail order tunes with the performance of a custom dyno tune.
Not only has Jon tuned our 1040rwhp 9 second GT500 which was a 5.0 Mustang Magazine feature/cover car he also tuned our 2.9L Whipple powered 2011-2012 5.0L Mustang GT which runs low 10's and will soon break into the 9's.
How the custom tuning works is we collect the information we need from you about your car. A tune request is made to Jon and the tune is built to the specific mods you have on your car. Then the tune is then emailed back to us. We'll email you a copy of the tune so that you can upload it onto your SCT handheld device as well as keep a copy of it on file so that if you happen to lose it for any reason we can resend it to you. The tune we provide will still allow you to make changes to it through the handheld device. Things such as spark, gear ratio, tire size, rev limter are all features of the tune that are left open for you to make changes to if you choose. All of the tuning that we provide through Jon Lund is only good for SCT's products.
Updates- For minor changes such as adding a different intake, pulley or headers there is no charge. If you happen to upgrade from a stock blower to a Whipple or Turbo setup there will be additional charges as those setups are unique and require additional tuning. The same goes for a race gas or valet tune as those are additional.

Finish it off with a silicone coupler and stainless clamps and you got the cheapest 123mm Intake on the market!!!
Early testing shows this can be used with the stock MAF sensor all the way up to 750 RWHP and well beyond with a MAFia, SCT BA5000 or HPX sensor.
