Description
Track Handling. Installing a set of Ford Racing Y-Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Ford Racing Y-Springs are intended for track use only.
Aggressive Stance. The Ford Racing Y-Springs not only improve the handling of your S550 Mustang on the track, but they also improve the overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.0" to eliminate that nasty raised 4x4 truck look for a more aggressive muscle car stance.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.
Required Upgrade. These Ford Racing Track Lowering Springs were specifically designed to work with Ford Racing Shocks & Struts (M-18000-F) and Sway Bars (M-5490-E), it is not recommended to use these Y-Springs with the stock shocks and struts.
Application. This set of four Ford Racing Track Lowering Y-Springs are designed specifically for use on the 2015-2020 GT and EcoBoost Fastback Mustang models. Does not fit convertible models.
Technical Note. The Springs are not compatible on vehicles equipped with the MagneRide Suspension.
