When lowering your S197 Mustang, the factory panhard rod causes the axle housing to shift torwards the drivers side. Even on most cars at factory ride height, the axle housing already sits about 1/4 inch to as much as 3/8th's of an inch over to the drivers side. New Eibach Pro-Alignment rear panhard rod allows you to adjust the rear axle housing side to side to perfectly center it in the car.
