Correct the suspension geometry on your lowered S197 Mustang with a set of Handling A-arms from BMR Suspension. Based on our well proven traditional A-arm design, these Handling A-arms feature ¾” taller ball joints to raise the roll center height on lowered vehicles for improved handling. The BMR Handling A-arms are constructed from heavy duty 1.25” DOM tubing and feature laser cut double-gusseted reinforcement plates. The non-adjustable A-arms (AA025) include a combination of low-deflection, internally-fluted, polyurethane bushings and fluted, greasable, Delrin bushings. The result is a high quality tubular A-arm that minimizes bushing deflection, reduces unsprung weight by up to 11 pounds, and improves handling by reducing body roll. Installation time is only 3 hours. Available in black hammertone or red powdercoat.
FEATURES:
- Provides additional camber adjustment over OE arms
- Lower weight than OE
- Heavy Duty QA1 XR series rod ends with stainless spacers
- Greasable rear Delrin bushings
- OE-sourced high quality ball joints already installed
- Works on OE or BMR Tubular K-members
Attention 2010 Mustang Customers: According to representatives from Ford Motor Company, all 2010 Mustangs built before August 2009 have 18 millimeter ball joints on the front lower A-arms. If your 2010 Mustang was built before August 2009, you need to purchase BMR A-arms for a 2005-2009 Mustang (AA010, AA019, AA023, or AA024). There should be a manufacturing decal on the driver side door jamb of your Mustang. The date on the upper left hand corner is the build date. All 2011-2014 have 19 millimeter ball joints on the front lower A-arms. All 2005-2009 Mustangs have 18 millimeter ball joints on the front lower A-arms. If you are uncertain of the build date for your Mustang, please measure the ball joint stud diameter before ordering your BMR front lower A-arms. If you have any questions, please call BMR Suspension directly and we will help you select the correct A-arms.
