Details

In 2003 Ford developed a specific tank for the 03 and 04 Mustang Cobras. This tank looked like a normal tank from the outside, but featured one of the finest internal baffling systems we’ve seen from an OE tank to date. In late 2011, Ford decided to discontinue these tanks. At Aeromotive, we saw and opportunity to reproduce these tanks. Not only can we offer reproduction 03-04 Cobra tanks, but we can also modify the tooling in the production process to offer this same tank to fit all Fox Body Mustangs. And that is exactly what we did. But we took it one step further. We built specific A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps that bolt right into top of these tanks.

In doing so, we created a fuel pump that not only drops into our reproduction tank, but also the factory 03-04 Ford Mustang Cobras. These pumps are nothing more than variations on our popular and proven A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps. So whether you need a replacement pump for your Aeromotive kit, or already have an 03-04 Cobra Tank, these pumps are the perfect choice. See notes and details below.

Damn good pump!
I was running a triple pump setup on my supercharged 03 Mach 1 and was having fuel pressure and voltage drops with the car. This pump solved both issues. I'm only pulling about a third of the amps to power this one fuel pump as I was with the three pump setup so my voltage is holding nice and steady now. My fuel pressure is great now too. Very impressed so far. The one downside to this pump is, don't expect to drop it in and nobody notice because it is LOUD! When I say loud, I mean I thought something was wrong with it at first so I dropped the tank back down. Everything was fine. It's just that this pump is a beast. Doesn't bother me because my car is basically a racecar anyway but, take that into consideration if you are thinking about putting it in your daily driver. I would definitely buy another one of these if it continues to perform as well as it has ove the past weekend. I ran the car HARD all weekend at two different tracks without one hiccup as far as my fuel system or voltage. Review by Michael / (Posted on 11/18/2013)
Damn good pump!
I was battling fuel pressue and voltage drop issues on my supercharged Mach 1 for awhile. This pump solved both issues. It draws just about the same amount of amperage as just one of my 340 pumps so I cut my amp draw by around two thirds what it was before. Voltage now holds good and steady and flowing more than enough fuel now. The one downside to this pump, which doesn't really bother me because my car is basically a racecar, is that it is LOUD. So don't expect to drop it in and nobody notice it because they will. It was so loud in fact that at first I thought something was wrong and dropped the tank back down to double check everything. Everything was good. It's just that this pump is a beast. I really like what I have seen out of it so far. Review by ModMike / (Posted on 11/18/2013)
